About Me

My name is Claire Anderson and about 4 years ago I quit my well paying job in property management and moved to San Francisco to persue a fashion career. I graduated in January with my MFA in fashion merchandising and have my dream job as assistant to the buyers of a boutique women's clothing store. However, I had to learn to live on a much smaller budget while in school and although I have a great job now I am starting over at the bottom and am still having to shop smart. By shopping at my store, fast fashion stores like Forever 21 and H&M, and consignment and thrift stores I have been able to create a diverse and affordable wardrobe without breaking the bank. I use inspiration from fashion magazines and the internet to create fashionable ensembles that look like I payed much more than I did. I wanted to use this blog to share my ideas on how anyone can create a great outfit on a limited budget.
